Against E.I. DuPont De Nemours &
Company Over the Manufacture,
Advertising, and Sale of
“Teflon®” Nonstick Cookware
Coating
Shapiro Haber & Urmy LLP is a
leading part of a coalition of
law firms which sued E.I. DuPont
De Nemours & Company (“DuPont”)
regarding the manufacture,
advertising, and sale of its
Teflon® product for use as a
nonstick cookware coating. Our
group has filed numerous
lawsuits in federal courts
nationwide, with all cases now
consolidated for pretrial
purposes before a single federal
judge in Iowa.
Led
by attorneys Thomas G. Shapiro
and Matthew L. Tuccillo, our
firm has already filed class
actions against DuPont on behalf
of Massachusetts and Connecticut
consumers. We are now
investigating cases against
DuPont on behalf of consumers
from the other New England
states – Maine,
New Hampshire,
Vermont, and Rhode Island.
Residents of these states with
concerns about Teflon® coated
cookware who would like more
information about participating
